One is asked one to slow down and look deep into themselves, to ponder the subtle changes in light and form across the rippled salvaged stainless-steel surface as your viewpoint shifts, your position changes, and the progression of time moves ever onwards. A fluid form suddenly contorted and released from a suspended state, with edges subtly curving under the pressure and energy within, created to contemplate the meeting of different forces and tensions, the moments in time where stillness and turbulence meet.

As the piece is perceived through the light and space reflected in its folds and surfaces, with each passing hour the piece takes on a new breath, slowly changing before our eyes as the planet soars through space. If we leave and return, will the steel still reflect the same atmosphere? Perhaps it is we who are changing too, and it is through these quiet pensive objects that we can be afforded a space to really sit and think, to marvel at the subtle passage of time and the physical presence of light and space. After all, we all deserve a moment of contemplation and peace amongst all this chaos.
