Humankind acts as if material is limitless, we’ve leveled that which stood before all to begin again within our projection of what’s right, what’s in style, what deserves to be instead of what was - all at the cost of the world as we’ve known it.  Seeking to reconcile with society’s ever-growing need for consumption, this work seeks to act as a meditation of that which is loss along the way.

At this time, the question of morality over gross consumption in the name of progress must be at the forefront of conversations of the world to come. What happens when we’ve sawn down the last of the forests and torn apart the mountains to continue along the same path that led us here in the first place?   Will the fallen forests remain as mere monuments to the natural bounty of a world long forgotten, stumps left to weather the tests of time?  Will the hollowed mountains be left barren and ringing with the forgotten echoes of progress?
